Lupus
Lupus is an autoimmune ailment wherein hyperactivity of the body’s immune system causes it to assault normally functioning, healthy tissues leading to adverse symptoms like inflammation and harm to the joints, skin, blood, heart, lungs and kidneys. The normally functioning immune system produces proteins known as antibodies as a defensive and deterrent mechanism to combat antigens like viruses and bacteria.
