Its efficacy could be improved by adding in essential oils (for instance, tea tree, lavender, thyme, cajeput) in the proportion of one drop essential oil for every ten to twenty drops of colloidal silver. Even olive oil could be used instead of colloidal silver.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Earache and inflammation due to inner ear infection could be relieved by practising the following lymphatic drainage massage techniques.

• Initially getting the individual to lie down on the side so that the pain-causing ear would face towards the ceiling.
• Placing ear drops of the above remedies in to the ear. Grasping the lower portion of ear, stretch and massage it which would facilitate easier seepage of the drops and commence lymphatic drainage.
• The milking methods could then be used for enhancing lymphatic drainage. Placing finger in the indent just underneath the ear and backside of the jaw bone. Applying gentle stroking moves from the neck downwards from that spot and also doing gentle massages to the lymph nodes located in the throat (palpated as hard, lump-like regions in throat and neck). Such motions would drastically enhance lymphatic drainage from the ear.
